The mapou Panel Score is a 0 to 100 score for how often AI assistants cite a brand across a fixed set of buying questions.
Why we measure segments
An industry is a sales label. A segment is a set of brands that compete on the same buying questions. Hotels and airlines are both travel, but nobody asks an assistant to compare Marriott with Delta. The same goes for retailers and manufacturers, or banks and card issuers. So the panel runs each segment on its own questions and publishes its own leaderboard.
