    AI shopping agents can read almost every big retailer. Buying is where the doors close.

    The Wall Street Journal reports that retailers are split on AI shopping agents. mapou read the robots.txt files of 18 big US retailers. Only Amazon stops AI assistants from reading product pages. The blocking that does happen is mostly at checkout.
